Estate Property Gut Renovation
The architect who purchased this apartment was not afraid of the estate condition that it was in.
The kitchen doors were removed to open up on both ends, and new wood flooring was installed to create a unified space with the living and dining areas. New appliances, quartz counters, a glass backsplash, and cabinets with thermofoil doors were installed.

Floor plan: before and after layout
There were unique alterations to the original layout to include more usable space. One example was the new vanity space in the bathroom that used to be part of the bedroom closet. In the bedroom the closet was reconfigured to create more storage space, installing full-height doors. Also, new Radiator covers with additional storage and quartz countertops were added to each window run the living room and one with a built-in bookcase and additional storage and desk in the bedroom. The Owner is an avid art collector, so individual display moments were created all around the apartment grouping furniture with particular pieces.
There were all new finishes and fixtures throughout, which resulted in an increase in value, for an originally undervalued apartment.
