Commercial office renovation for befit, New York City

 

INSIDE/ OUTSIDE: beFIT.                Physical Therapy Town Office

When we are in recovery, we need to be in a energized environment that can stimulate our mind and body.  Using color and graphics to take us both inside and outside a space can help us stay focused and move forward.

We have designed several of  beFIT’s locations, as a ‘kit of parts ‘that would carry their branding and purpose, regardless of site location.  Color is used to connect the exterior sidewalk to the interior gym,  making it inviting to people walking around town, while giving a view of the water to patients inside the space.

The open space was designed to be layered with exercise activities, for multiple uses by different PTs during the day.  The horizontal band of orange leads users down the hallway and into different rooms. 

This new beFIT location has created a wellness ‘anchor’ at the end of the retail strip that will no doubt bring other similar businesses.
